Kim Delaney was an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is because of her part as Detective Diane Russell, in the ABC show NYPD Blue. For this she won the Emmy Award. The most notable role she has played is her role on All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Born as the only daughter to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a household worker, Delaney was raised with four brothers. In her early years, she dreamt of being a reporter for the court. After graduating from high school and moving in New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. She was cast as an innocent child in the 1981 soap opera All My Children. Delaney is an acclaimed actress who has been in many films, TV movies, and dramas. Like her career but her personal life hasn't been easy or prosperous. In the past, this accomplished actress battled alcoholism and had two marriages fail. In 2005, the actress was denied custody over her one son.
